 Because
of Tanya's passing, CSP's breeding program has been closed. Her husband
Rich, will keep up with Tanya's Boogie dogs, but he will not be making
anymore breedings. See... breeding dogs at CSP will no longer or ever be
the same without her.
For those that knew Tanya, every new litter was like her first. After doing it so long you would think the novelty would rub off... it never did on Tanya. She loved every litter and every puppy like it was her first. Every puppy was cared for from day one IN HER HOUSE. Almost 15 years in the breed.. raised all her puppies in her Master Bathroom until old enough for first shots and to go outside. She would have a kiddie pool and a tarp down under the pool on the floor to protect her carpets until they were old enough to go in the whelp box. She was so anal about her pups not catching anything that for every litter she bought a "new" tarp. I always told her "TANYA YOU CAN RE-USE them if you bleach them, it's not like the tarp is dirty, it's just under the kiddie pool"... she would always say "NOPE... I NEED A NEW TARP FOR EVERY LITTER, YOU KNOW ME I'M ANAL"..... So off her husband would go to buy her a new one at Walmart. She had bad breathing problems due to her asthma. I told her time and time again the shavings dust was not doing her any good... she needed to put the pups outside, build a shed for them or get them across the house in another room... she refused... she said she wanted to be close to them, in her MASTER BATHROOM. That's Tanya for you.... she did it her way!!! I take great pride in saying we care a great deal about our dogs and puppies, but Tanya took things to the extreme. Any puppy who was born at CSP was lucky and priveledged to have her there caring for them. She was a Vet tech for 12 years and had more experience than I think some Vets do. Tanya... What A Loss... to try to put into words what her loss means to the breed would be an injustice... to try to put into words how much she cared for her dogs would be an injustice... Her deep love and dedication shines in every one of her pups.... may her legacy live on through them!!!! Tanya
