4/22/08 Update: Tanya's 1 Month Anniversary of her passing and CSP loses Boogieman the same day.  We miss you Tanya, more than words can express!!!
It is with both sadness and joy that we announce that the old man "Boogieman" or as Tanya called him "CHOPPER" or "CHOP CHOP" has joined Tanya exactly 1 month after she passed away... Maybe it was his gift to her today...  I can just see him running and jumping on her or trying to hump her leg as he did as a young male in the ring lol. He would have been 15yrs old in less than 3 months. He lived a very long life for a dog... a great life thanks to our dearly departed Tanya. We are joyful that they are reunited for eternity, but at the same time sad to see him go cause he was such a constant reminder of Tanya for all of us, especially her husband who took great care of him this past month. I know she's proud of you Rich... They are now together again, free of pain, free of worries and runnin' in the Sky....RIP to Two Beautiful Souls...

Another sad day for C.S.P.
I went out this morning too spray the kennels and found that Boogieman has left us to be with Tanya.
He was sleeping peacefully in his house and didn't move for me. I had a dream last night that I was playing with him and Tanya in the yard like we used to do.

Most people in the dogs by now know we lost Tanya on Saturday, March 22, 2008.  The logo above was made with her last photo taken at the show less than 2 hours before she passed...  I called her Friday, 3/21 at 8:30am asked her "WHERE ARE YOU".... She replied "AT THE BEAUTY SHOP".  I laughed, Tanya in the Beauty Shop?... She said "I WANT MY HAIR OUT THE WAY FOR THE SHOW"... So there she is pictured above with her hair braided, had 2 braids in the back... her last photo.... God took her from her parents, her family, her friends and her dogs way too soon.

For those who knew her, knew she was as tenacious as our bulldogs, with a heart of Gold like our Bulldogs. She was very independent and a Tom-Boy at heart... A funny, feisty lady... Strong willed and told it like it was.... She had a hard exterior, but a soft and sensitive inside those close to her knew... She would take the shirt off her back for her friends in a time of need. She lived, breathed and died BULLDOGS. The dogs were her passion, her mission, her reason for living. She was an ambassador of the breed... THE AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER... like no other person I have met. What a Great Loss to our Breed... To try to put into words what she did for the breed would be an injustice... to try to put into words how much she loved the breed would be an injustice. Those who knew her... JUST KNOW. Tanya helped all dogs, even if they weren't hers. 

Tanya wrote this to me when I lost my beloved house dog, my pride and the love of my life... 
I quote here part of an email Tanya sent to me back on 8/4/06:
"If everybody knew the exact moment when they would die, they would live in constant dread of that day and never truly live their life. Keena knows you did everything you could for her. When you see her in your dreams, talk to her about how you feel. She understands and comes to you to make you feel better. Give her lots of hugs and kisses. - Tanya" 
With that said.... Tanya didn't live with any fear... She passed away at an ADBA dog show, doing what she loved best... SHOWING HER DOGS in the ADBA Show Ring.  We can all say she was happy that day.... very, very happy on her last day... I will see you in my dreams now my friend and I hope Keena is by your side.

Tanya was 35 years old, 16 days shy of her 36th birthday. She was an only child and is survived by her dear mother, father, her husband, family, a few good dog friends, a few great non-dog friends and a yard full of her Bulldogs!!! Her joy in life was her dogs, PERIOD! Her dreams and aspirations were her dogs...  This website will remain up... one of her great pleasures in life was this website... she was so proud of it and so happy every time I updated it for her. Her husband, Rich, will keep some of her  Boogie dogs and keep showing them for her in her honor...  Her dogs will live on....  Rest In Peace Tanya.... 
Your loss is a Great One.... You're Irreplaceable....
